One of our area's top workforce development initiatives and educational venues is the My Success Event.
This event provides seniors students with a career education the assistance to develop career path options. Students meet one on one with representatives from businesses to learn about careers available in the area. Through a highly interactive approach, students also are exposed to the educational requirements necessary for these careers. Colleges and technical centers are on hand to share where students can find the additional education and training necessary.
Projected Attendance: 2,000 students from 50 area schools over two days. Additionally, over 70 area business representatives and over 50 volunteers.
