On April 28th, our Team participated in Pay It Forward Day. We asked our offices to select a place or places to send food or something similar to spread kindness. Our Kansas City Team purchased a pizza lunch for the staff at the Child Protection Center, Inc. Kansas City. The Child Protection Center aims to provide a safe space to heal from, report, and prevent acts of child abuse and violence. Since its founding in 1996, they have served thousands of children in their journey to healing from profound trauma. Through forensic interviews, family advocacy, and mental health services, the Child Protection Center works to transform these kids’ pain so they can begin to live happier, healthier lives. We appreciate the work the Child Protection Center does for the Kansas City community, and we loved having an opportunity to Pay Forward the kindness they share in our community every day. #community #PayItForward #Logistics #TrinityLogistics

Last week, 11 Trinity Team Members from across the country visited Iowa State University for the Iowa State University - Ivy College of Business Sales Forum sales competition. This was the second phase of the competition, in which the students had to act as representatives of Trinity Logistics and convince the "Shipper," our Trinity Team Members, to commit to Partnering. Our Trinity Team Members scored how well the students did and provided feedback. Recently, the Trinity Foundation held its annual Big Pink Volleyball Game in Delaware. Proceeds from the game will go to the Tidal Health Allen Cancer Care Center. Our Team has skills! Our Orlando Team practiced their basketball skills earlier this week when our Orlando Magic rep brought some swag. The Team had an in-office skills challenge (3-Point Shootout and Ball Handling) and a Slam-Dunk contest to win prizes like pins, pens, balls, bobbleheads, and a 35-year Magic Anniversary record. Lisa Walton came in 1st place and won the record. Eddie Lopez and Elias Ortiz tied for 2nd place, winning the Markelle Fultz bobbleheads. Recently, Garrett Grier, our Enterprise Sales Director (Agent Division), visited one of our independent Freight Agents, Luis Rodrigue, to see some of the customers and carriers Luis has in Mexico City and hear from both parties about the business they have right now and in the coming years. Garrett says, " During the five days, it was completely obvious that Luis had a tremendous number of contacts throughout Mexico, and we couldn't go anywhere without him knowing someone. The relationships he's built with his customers, carriers, and prospects were top-notch. I continued to hear from those we met with that his level of service, attention to detail, and level of care are second to none. We're lucky to have Luis representing the Trinity brand in Mexico, and I foresee many growth opportunities in the Mexico market in the months/years to come."
