Event Description: Join us for the 2014 Small Business Summit at MWSU's Fulkerson Center featuring two Keynote Speakers: Will Shields, former Chiefs player and Entrepreneur and Henry C. “Hank” Foley, Ph.D. Academic Affairs, Research and Economic Development, University of Missouri.

In our breakout sessions, gain knowledge about these important business topics: First Breakout Options: #1 Protecting Your Intellectual Assets Trademarks, trade secrets, copyrights & patents.

#2 Social Media Learn the difference betweenthe platforms and where you should be for your business.

1 to 3:30 p.m. Quickbooks Class: Bring your laptop and learn how to use all the basic functions of QuickBooks. This is an interactive workshop that will have live demonstrations. Space is limited. (optional & requires separate registration of $10 per person, limited to the first 50 people) * Taught by Shea Mears, CPA, MBA the Outsourcing Manager of CliftonLarsonAllen LLP in Des Moines, Iowa

Total registration cost with Quickbooks is $25 for Chamber Members and $35 for non-members. Without Quickbooks it is $15 for Chamber members and $25for non-members.
